ABOUT

RICH HISTORY - ONE NOMINATION FOR THE 2024 BREEDING SEASON

Standing at:

One of the best bred stallions in Ireland.

RICH HISTORY is by Dubawi who is the undisputed world champion sire. Dubawi and his sons are making a huge impact as stallions in both flat and NH racing .

RICH HISTORY with his "Blue Hen" DANEHILL dam POLISHED GEM offers breeders a unique and proven total outcross to Sadler’s Wells blood lines.

The uniqueness and depth of greatness that Rich History’s pedigree brings to breeders is evident with the exceptional number of both Flat and National Hunt Graded winners in his pedigree.

His sire Dubawi brings an incredible consistency of speed and toughness over all distances and ground conditions to his progeny. Dubawi, from a very limited opportunity to National Hunt breeders due to having a stud fee of £350,000, has sired the National Hunt Grade1 winners: Dodging Bullets (Queen Mother Champion Chase, Cheltenham , Tingle Creek Chase, Sandown, and Clarance House Chase Ascot) all Grade 1,
Hisaabaat, Champion four year old hurdle Punchestown Grade 1 and Spring Juvenile Hurdle Leopardstown Grade 2. Plus the Grade 2 and 3 hurdle and French chase winners Purple Bay & Lachlan Bridge.

Recent French NH Breeding success highlights the importance of using stallions with race jumping pedigrees.
RICH HISTORY certainly brings an abundance of jumping blood & size to the table. Rich History’s dam is a half sister to Archive Fotage (by Sadler’s Wells ) a multiple GR1 & GR2 hurdle winner.
His half brother Valac ( by Dark Angle) is the Australian 2022 Novice Hurdle Champion.

As well as being a half brother to Kyprios, the highest rated stayer this century after his four GR1 wins in 2022 (and not yet finished) he is also half brother to Search For A Song (winner of 2 GR1 St. Legers ) Free Eagle Winner of Prince Of Wales GR1) Sapphire, Custom Cut both which are multiple GR Winners.

NB All successful bidders must pay for their Lots no later than close of business on 18th January 2024.
