AUSTRIAN SCHOOL - ONE NOMINATION FOR THE 2024 BREEDING SEASON  

Standing at: Clongiffen Stud (IRE)

Not only is Austrian School a half brother to TIGER ROLL, he also has a very decent racing career behind him before he retired to stud at Clongiffen Stud. 

Austrian School was second in the Listed Rose Bowl Stakes at Newmarket and the 11-furlong Listed Glasgow Stakes at Hamilton, and third to Dee Ex Bee in the Group 3 Henry II Stakes at Sandown and occupied the same position in the Listed Noel Murless Stakes at Ascot.

His sire Teofilo has also had plenty of winners under National Hunt rules and these include the Grade 1 chase winner Broughton.

Swiss Roll (Entrepreneur), the dam of Austrian School and three other winners, was runner-up in the Listed Vintage Crop Stakes at Navan, and her siblings include the Group 3 Park Express Stakes winner Pollen (Orpen), her full-brother Berenson (Entrepreneur), runner-up in the Group 1 National Stakes at two, and the listed hurdle-placed, five-time winner Khachaturian (Spectrum).

_{The Nomination will entitle the Purchaser to have one approved mare covered by the stallion in the 2024 Northern Hemisphere breeding season. The purchaser shall be entitled to a free return to the stallion for the 2025 covering season for the mare covered in 2024 or another approved mare provided that the stallion is still standing at the same farm and is available to cover mares and only if, following the end of the 2024 covering season:-a) the purchaser produces a certificate stating the mare is barren and signed by a qualified veterinary surgeon relating to an examination carried out at least 40 days from the mare's last service by the stallion, OR b) the purchaser produces a veterinary certificate to the effect that the mare either failed to give birth to a live foal or gave birth to a foal which died within 48 hours of birth other than by reason of accident.}
